From January 23rd to February 28th, 2021, engage in a series of conversations and interactive activities, which will include a three-day Symposium on the Canadian Strategic Plan for the Decade of People from African Descent in Victoria. These BC public consultations will provide an opportunity to inform and respond to the Canadian strategic plan of the International Decade for People of African Descent. This forum will bring BC Black Canadian communities together to share perspectives, strengthen their relationship and develop a pathway forward that will served to build the capacity needed to support greater social and economic inclusion. One of the key objectives of the Forum is to develop an institutional hub to ensure efforts to support capacity development among Black Canadians can be sustainable and scalable.
