You are invited to attend the annual Toronto TET 2021 Celebration, with the theme “SAFE YEAR OF THE BUFFALO”, virtually hosted by the Vietnamese Association, Toronto (VAT) under the title sponsorship of TD Bank.. Due to the pandemic restrictions, this Lunar New Year event will take place this year virtually, on February 14th 2021, at 1:00pm (EST), on VAT Facebook, and Dailymotion social platform:

In previous years, this event has drawn between 6,000 to 10,000 visitors to the International Centre in Mississauga and has been recently attended by honoured guests such as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, then-Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Premier Doug Ford, Toronto City Mayor John Tory, Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, etc.

This cultural celebration will feature traditional ancestral worship ceremony, lion dance, and performances by internationally renowned Vietnamese singers from the U.S. as well as local GTA favourites. This Celebration is expected to be viewed locally and globally by Vietnamese as well as non-Vietnamese audiences worldwide on Feb. 14th, 2021 and well after.
