The CCAH provides a full month of activities to celebrate Black History Month involving community members of all ages from Oakville and Halton Region. Events feature local Black Caribbean and African professional & community-based artists, speakers, facilitators, plus programming from community organizations-Oakville Museum, Sheridan College. Events reflect history and legacy of local Black community and are for everyone. Since 2005 audience has grown from 4,000 to 20,000 in 2020 with increased involvement of Milton community, schools, and seniors' residences.Due to COVID-19 restrictions, programming can be adapted to virtual format; group sizes limited. CCAH is currently providing virtual programming.

- Kick-off Event: Performances, speakers, exhibitions

- Halton Schools: Steelpan workshops (elementary) performances/workshops (elementary & high school students), Caribbean Cooking Classes (high school), Black racism workshops (all levels)

- Adult & School Programming "Next Stop Freedom" Oakville Museum

- Community members, organizations - Public forums - Black racism issues/solutions

- Seniors Residences - music activities (new, 2020)

- Legacy Voices' doc/film by local Black seniors

- Art Hives workshops - various locations/dates; all ages

- Exhibitions: Black artists, Sheridan College students, Oakville Museum displays

- Lunch & Learn: Cultural training programs - Police, Firefighters

- Community activities/performances in libraries Oakville, Milton
