Every year, Music Africa of Canada Inc. presents the Black History Month Concert Series featuring performances by local African Canadian artist and artists within the African Diaspora. The event is aimed at showcasing the beauty and diversity of African music and culture while shining a light on the past heroes who fought and keep fighting to ensure that our community receives equal treatment in all political, social and economic settings.

This year we will have performances by six musical groups from Africa and the Caribbean.

We have also designed and will execute an artist education program aimed at teaching artists how to identify and take advantage of opportunities within the music industry.
