The 5th edition of Gala Dynastie will be celebrated a little differently this year. In light of the upheavals of 2020, it was impossible for us to contemplate an edition which would ignore the social movements and demands the Black community has made for a just and fair society. The death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery have echoed through the world and Quebec. This year the gala team will highlight social involvement and the empowerment of Black communities in these times of profound societal changes.

The 11 awards presented this year will highlight personalities who advocate for the rights, freedom and empowerment of Black communities.
