On the Move: A National Celebration of Asian Heritage
Presented by TD

Festival Accès Asie is proud to partner with the Vancouver Asian Heritage Month Society (Vancouver) and the Asian Heritage Society of Manitoba (Winnipeg) to present On the Move: National Celebrations of Asian Heritage. A first national showcase in collaboration with three organizations dedicated to Asian Canadian heritage.

Following the 2nd National Asian Heritage Month Symposium, many participants expressed their desire to see the development of a national network of collaboration and exchange, in order to strengthen solidarity and unity between Asian artistic organizations and artists.

The Accès Asie Festival answers the call by launching On the Move: National Celebrations of Asian Heritage, a national showcase resulting from a collective program bringing together three Canadian cities to celebrate Asian Heritage Month in May 2021. The event brings together artists from all over the world, including Montreal, Vancouver, and Winnipeg. These artists work in the field of dance, music, and multidisciplinary.

The national showcase will be presented live on Zoom on Saturday May 29 at 8 p.m. and will be cheerfully hosted by Khosro Berahmandi and Karine Kerr-Gillespie, who respectively hold the positions of artistic director and general manager of the Festival Accès Asie.

To receive the Zoom link, book a free ticket. The event will be bilingual.
