Join the Black Beauty Culture Association of Nova Scotia (BBCA) for a 2-night, online forum celebrating Being Black and Beautiful in Nova Scotia. We will be discussing injustices, inequality, and inequity in the beauty industry in the province. This forum is a follow-up to our 2020 program, The Black Hair-Story of Nova Scotia.

The first session will focus on upcoming changes to government policies and clarification of the Cosmetology Act, the upcoming community consultation concerning the Black Beauty Culture Hair Innovators Apprenticeship course and the Black Hair Matters Movement and what to expect from the Black Beauty Culture Association.

The second session will be a hair care demonstration, product information and a question and answer about Black Hair care for the whole family.
